Techno is in the genetic pulse of the Octave One brothers. Hailing from Detroit, Lenny and Lawrence Burden have been vanguards of the genre since its early innovation and continue to set the standard for dance floors. Their electrifying live performances showcase to audiences just what techno is made of: the synthesis of man and machine. The duo’s astounding array of analog gear, a mighty rig they call “The Mothership,” acts as a vessel of funk grooves, house riffs, and irresistible rhythms as they take dancers on a trip through musical literacy. With each live set, the formidable force accomplishes a feat few can conceive of in the studio, and even fewer are able to recreate live. This is why Octave One is techno’s unrivalled live act.

Welcoming REj to Anemos Dance this summer with a truly captivating release that captures the cycladic atmosphere and beyond! We see the Gibraltarian fuse his signature eccentric, electronic sound design with the familiar, warm, percussive Anemos colours rounded off with heart- warming vocal lines throughout. Inspired by our island in the winter, yet written for the summer, on hearing this emotive yet uplifting dancefloor journey we knew that we too needed that Majik. The lead track 'Maijk' is a deep musical journey anchored by groovy rhythms and a strong, repetitive vocal line that's quickly glued into the listeners mind. As the pads evolve into heart- warming synth melodies, the listener is reminded that they are indeed experiencing something magical. REj once again captures our hearts as the vocal on 'Listen To Me'instantly makes any dancefloor feel united. The groove's percussion achieves a rarity where it hits the listener in the face at the same time as making the body want to 'get down'. This is a dancefloor must. On 'Diocese', REj plays freely with percussion patterns and eerie melodics topped off with a twisted vocal in a style he is no stranger too. After „Starlight", his contribution to the Four To The Floor 27, Italian artists Paul Ursin returns to Diynamic with a four track EP.
Opening track „In My Soul" is an emotive peak time floor filler with a rousing vocal and enthralling techno percussions taking you for a ride.
In „Last Train" we hear a sample of an iconic German amusement fair announcer; the track perfectly encapsulates the feeling of a teenager trying to look cool while struggling to hold on to the rails of the fair ride that accelerates uncontrollably.
Title track „1997" will let you know it's time to get pumpin'. Subby frequencies tickle your guts and the catchy chords magically move your feet towards the dance floor.
And closing off the „1997 EP" is „Let Me" in collaboration with Afterwards - a dark and brooding Melodic House track with a thick sub-bass and an emotional voice that lures you in.
