The Brave Tin Soldier

This young belgian band formed around singer-songwriter Michaël Lamiroy was born in a little old house in the woods called 'St. Francis' in summer 2012. It started with the collaboration of Michaël, violinist Hester Bolle and saxophonist Thomas Jillings. Later on the band became complete with gitarist Jennik Verlinden, double bassplayer Gerben Brys and drummer Stijn Demuynck. The music St. Francis brings floats from folk to experiment, from earthly to dreamy and free, from whispers to howling and screaming. The live-experiences and try-outs so far have been very positive and well recieved. This summer St. Francis will work hard to hopefully bring out a first EP in autumn 2013.
