All of us experience suffering.  We each have a cross to bear.  The love of God for us was displayed in humility of Jesus' suffering on the cross.  Unless we embrace our cross, we will not find peace in this world.  Our crosses have the power and grace to reveal the glory of God.

Time and wealth are gifts which must be used wisely.  Jesus was very clear in scripture in how we must be on guard against greed.  None of us is guaranteed a tomorrow.  We only have the present moment and must be good stewards of our time and wealth.

Jesus' words have all of the reality and the power of the Father's words.  They flow over us like a sea of grace.   In our human arrogance, we are free to reject His words.  Will you?

Jesus promises he will return.  He calls us to be vigilant at all times.  
Each moment of time is precious and irreplaceable.  What we call "delay" may be God's manifestation of Divine Mercy.  Do you have to hit rock bottom before repenting and returning to the Lord?
