St. Mud Avenue rose in 2013 by guitarist Stefano Ronchi and harp player Fabio Kid Bommarito. The main intention was, and still is, to combine personal arrangements of classic blues tunes, with the traditional language of this old brilliant music. In 2014 the band turned into a very special quintet, where the traditional sounds of Mississippi (footdrums, resophonic guitars and harp) can speak the same ol' language with cello and double bass.
