so this just kinda happened and that was only because i found the stems for this one day and thought "might as well give it a crack" and thus, this was made. this doesnt feel like a remix to me, hence why i called it a "version" rather than that but you can call it that if you want, im not gonna stop you.

the original track is about 4 years old at the time of me writing this as it came out back in 2017. it hasnt aged all that well imo but its worth a listen if you can find it.

the vocal sample heard is original as i recorded it myself and isnt meant as a diss, more of a friendly little dig of sorts, here what i said there if you cant make it out

"I mean, there's nothing wrong with, like, living in the past persay, like I get from a comfort standpoint,because that timeframe is nostalgic to some people and it very much brings you comfort and that kind of stuff and brings you back to a certain timeframe, i get it, but again, at some point you need to realize that maybe having you style being indebted to a specif timeframe isn't really the best thing? like, taking steps to modernize is one thing and admitting there is a problem that it all sounds dated, yeah, is another, but like... I don't know, I'm just saying that maybe... it's time for a change or something, I don't know."

had a lot of fun making this as always since its somewhat different to what i usually do and was a nice break from the projects ive been working on for a while now (mentioned those back in preludes, check that out if havent yet).
