Hot on the heels of Deniz Koyu's 'To The Sun', Axtone line up the Chocolate Puma remix of one of the year's finest releases 'Arms Around Me' from Hard Rock Sofa & Skidka.

With the full release of 'Arms Around Me' coming soon via Island Records accompanied by a South African inspired video clip, Chocolate Puma have injected a large dose of acid to this disco­sampling anthem that has garnered support form the likes of Axwell, Alesso, Hardwell, Avicii & many more. 

It's fair to say everyone at Axtone HQ are long term fans of Rene and Gaston aka Chocolate Puma and their various guises; Zki & Dobre, Jark Prongo and The Good Men, so were all particularly excited about this remix. If we were to list all the fine productions from the Dutch duo we'd need a lot more space but standout tracks under the Chocolate Puma name alone include 'I Wanna Be U', 'Tonco Tone', 'One More Time' and more recently 'Step Back' and the wonky 'Rubberband Lazar'. 
And what about Hard Rock Sofa? The boys have been busy in the studio so expect a slew of new productions appearing from their Smolensk studio over the coming months.

Radikon head Jonas Saalbach returns to the label's spotlight with a 6 track mini album which represents nothing less than his own state of the art production peak while establishing an intimate attempt at songwriting offering a unique insight to the artist's mindset. Jonas' introvert outrospective feels like taking a deep breath and pressing the pause button to take back just a brief moment in time to take a look around and reflect on the state of the Zeitgeist and it's given implications on our daily lives. ‚Acceleration' makes no pretence to give a abstract philosophical reflection from a zoomed out perspective on contemporary societal circumstances, this a pure and highly personal perception directly from the artist's POV. Saalbach reviews his own strategies to cope with an ever growing pressure to keep moving at any given moment to match up with the technological revolutions happening around all of us at an ever accelerating pace. Luckily the producer found his zone of zen inside the walls of his studio and delivers yet another forward thinking production on the edge of tomorrow. The spectrum covered within the 6 pieces ranges between dancefloor hymns with driving drum sections to catchy vocal hooklines with pop ascendents. Thematically every songs stands for another individual observation of the times at hand. If it's the definition of what it means to be human in an era of rising robotic minds, the widely spread distress of keeping up without knowing if there's a finish line to cross behind the horizon or the supposedly basic question of where to live the good life, Jonas does not pretend to have an answer. But he invites you to take the journey through these foggy passages together. These are questions everyone of us has buried in the back of our heads and this is why it's even more important to openly share the feeling of uncertainty to feel less alone in the age of ‚Acceleration'.

Shapov vs M.E.G. & N.E.R.A.K. - Dream About It

The Winter Music Conference buzz is ever present and of course Staar Traxx are on call to deliver another energetic, bouncing house masterpiece ready for release. Dutch resident Luca Perra teams up with American vocalist ‘Knifekick’ to produce the melodic ‘I Want it Now’.
Echoing the bright and energetic tones of summer looming, ‘I Want it Now’ begins with sensational percussion sequence with an almost tribal choir-like adlib until the breakdown reveals the so titled hook of the track. The mesmerising, airy vocal from Knifekick is met with the strong percussion buildup, which elevates the energy of the track tenfold, climaxing to the piano and lead drop, with almost a staccato melody ringing through the song, cut with a thumping, pumping bass melody, almost now a signature of a Staar Traxx release. Luca Perra and Knifekick have certainly lived up the standard, which is driving Staar Traxx further up in people’s estimations.
