Denis A - Hypnoteric Mini MIx Preview

Cid Inc and Darin Epsilon team up for a rare collaboration on Darin’s influential label Perspectives. The track has been a staple in both their sets as well as long-time supporters Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, the latter of which featured ‘Outliers’ in his September Top 10 and Resident radio show.

The original is a powerful slab of tastiness. Its ballsy vibe creates tension as subtle acidic lines meet spacious melodics, gelling beautifully to create a seriously cool atmosphere. The track builds, encapsulating the listener in its magical spell, toughening throughout and making this a surefire monster for the dancefloor.

On remix duties is the uber cool Petar Dundov, who makes intelligent electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet, and twists minds. He is without a doubt one of the most inspiring, original, and daring producers in electronica. With the likes of Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Josh Wink, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, and Danny Tenaglia amongst his fans, it would be hard to disagree.

His rework utilizes the original elements and forms an encapsulating soundscape. Petar allows the sounds to dominate their own space and develops the tension superbly as it glides you effortlessly into a driving workout.

Also adding to this package further down the line, Perspectives will be running its first ever remix contest for aspiring producers around the world to compete for a chance at signing with North America’s premier label for Progressive House, Deep House, and Tech House. The winner will have the prestigious honor of releasing his/her winning remix alongside three world renowned producers.

His latest outing shows maturity and musical development, as we kick off proceedings with 'Celestials'. The track opens with all the right notes, as the expressive, progressive house influenced track grabs you from the word go, interspersing with roomy glowing vibes and filtered stabs, driving leads culminating into an energetic drop to round off this brilliant underground crowd pleaser, with its understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. DJ AroZe manages to keep the energy up, subtlety allowing the driving feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape.

Despite having known each other for the best part of two decades, Luke Brancaccio & Steve Parry surprisingly, didn’t actually formally meet until 2018. It will come as no surprise however to learn it was their shared passion for dance music that eventually brought them together.  
It could have all worked out differently when back in 2005, Luke didn’t make it to a gig Steve booked him for at his infamous Alderaan nights in Liverpool but that’s a story for another day and their friendship continued to flourish online, blossoming further when Selador signed one of Luke’s tracks for the label’s 5th Birthday project. 
It was around this time that the idea of a collaboration was mooted which is where our story gathers pace. The result, as you’d expect, is something special as the duo draw upon their combined wealth of DJ, clubbing and production experience to create a peak time juggernaut by the name of ‘Control Machine’.  
This straight-for-the-jugular beast is also accompanied by a rather large remix courtesy of Brazilian legend, Renato Cohen who builds upon the original’s relentless bassline adding yet more power and energy.  
Together, it’s a double barrelled weapon alert!

"Marie Wilhelmine Anders is a recent addition to our Broque roster about which we are particularly excited; and not only because of her versatile background, which is ubiquitous on her album “Andersworld”. In fact, considering that MWA plays violin, piano, drums and e-bass since the age of five, already back then had a thing for early Genesis tunes, and studied classical contemporary composition at UDK Berlin and the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart only to push various music endeavors in between experimental, jazz and classical music afterwards, an album full of run-of-the-mill preset sounds would have been more than surprising.
With remarkable ease, „Andersworld“ combines playful improvisations, traditional and electronic instruments, a serious sense for deepness, Burial-ish echo chambers and warm string carpets grounded in the afterhours of Motown with Marie’s wonderful vocals which let Robert L Stevensons prose shine as they never shone before. Her songs seem to meander in between so different reference points as Larry Heard on the one side and the more atmospheric songs of Saint Etienne on the other side. While there are not many artists out there able to combine such distinct influences, MWA pulls all of this together into a deep, dense and coherent album. As if this would not be enough, Mar io and Zweig add the icing on the cake with their remixes, which wrap-up an actual opus of an album.“

Marie writes about Mar io:
"When I first got to know Mario's music, I was immediately fascinated and excited by the driving energy that runs through it and the stringent structure that won't let you go. All the more I am proud and happy to have him with me with two remixes on my new album "Andersworld".

Mar io has been exploring the realms of electronic music for a long time and is mostly to be found in techno and house landscapes, with excursions into downtempo. He usually produces with Cubase and digital, but the haptic and tonal advantage of hardware synthesizers and drum machines is always included. The musical results of these trips into the world of sound can be found on labels such as Form&Terra Records, Broque, Modart Music or Vision 3 Records, or listen to one of Mar io's producer podcasts, i.e. mix sets with exclusively own productions. In the future Mar io wants to expand its own support platform "Akoasma Europe" and continue the path it has started with Form&Terra Records. The future will show which paths will appear on this way - stay tuned.
