This week a real treat for the Sunset Lovers show comes from Bali Indonesia located Eric Duncan aka Dr Dunks who is one half of legendary DJ duo Rub-n-Tug & also half of DFA’s Still Going. 

Eric Duncan started DJ-ing in Manhattan’s Downtown bar and club circuit in the mid 90’s. His sets are usually a crazy blend of underground disco classics, raving house jams, funky rock and dreamy balearic.
In 1996 he stepped out of the DJs booth to help curate music for the Girl Skateboards movie titled ‘Mouse’.
A couple of years later, Eric along with Thomas Bullock formed the AfterHours party outfit ‘Rub-N-Tug’.
After a few years of HARDCORE party providing to NYC’s left field underground. Eric began hitting the road with Rub-N-Tug.
In 2006 Eric & Liv Spencer started ‘Still Going’ releasing 2 singles on DFA Records including ‘Still Going Theme’ & ’Spaghetti Circus’ the later featuring Ultra talented Reggie Watts on vocals.
Eric also has production collaborations with Dean Meredith of Chicken Lips fame and New York’s Justin Vandervolgen leader of ‘My Rules’ label.
Eric Duncan aka Dr. Dunks has numerous remixes and releases as himself or as part of his collaborations with Daniele Baldelli, Locosolus, Bryan Ferry, Robbie Williams, Laid Back, Grace Jones, Cold Play, Roxy Music, LCD Soundsystem, Canyons, TV Baby, Beastie Boys, Zero 7, Material, The Presets, Lindstrom, Doves, Todd Terje, Groove Armada & the list goes on.
