Receiving the baton from label head Stacey Pullen, Spain’s David Herrero steps up to the Blackflag plate to deliver a double-thick package of dancefloor crushing techno.
A standout favourite of Pullen’s in recent years, Herrero is an industrious beatsmith whose issued cuts on labels such as Defected, VIVa Music and Monza Ibiza Records and garnering the support of Loco Dice, Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin, along with the Detroit legend of course. It’s this sharp form that’s seen him play a succession of heavy-hitting gigs everywhere from Japan’s heady temple of techno, Womb, to Toronto’s iconic Footwork and Space in Miami. 

Over three tracks, his debut EP for Blackflag Recordings highlights his versatility as a producer and continues the label’s growing reputation for showcasing the rich vein of talent coming from Spain skilful techno Armada.

‘Maybe Someday’ kicks the release into gear with the kind of punchy, muscular techno that shakes with an cutting industrial vibe and is the kind of weapon you can imagine the masses loses their collective faculties to at Music On when the sun starts to seep into Amnesia’s famous terrace. 

Herrero approaches things from a different standpoint with ‘The Frogman’, the cut mixing up bouncy basslines in the intro that lead into the mother of all groove-driven techno workouts; relentless, hip-lashing and impossible to listen to without getting a case of twitchy dancefloor feet. 

Proving his sonic dexterity, ‘They Tell Me’ is the plump, drum-heavy roller crafted thick with tribal percussion and thick smoky atmosphere and makes the perfect compliment to its more up-tempo accomplices.

Out on March 10th, Saved 100 will feature original material from label bosses Nic and Mark Fanciulli alongside Saved mainstays Robert Dietz, Philip Bader, Stacey Pullen, Gary Beck and Alex Tepper. Mouth-watering remixers include Danny Daze, Frankie Knuckles, Joris Voorn and Adam Beyer with the likes of Subb-an, Spencer Parker, Terrence Parker and Mark Broom all also set to feature in a compilation that displays both the depth and dexterity of Saved Record’s impressive back catalogue. The compilation will also come with an exclusive mix from Mark Fanciulli, serving up a label perspective from right within the eye of the Saved nucleus.

Here's our 'O&A Warehouse Remix' of Jesse Rose & Brillstein's 'Good Wife' that features on Jesse's 'The Whole Twleve Remixes' package on Play It Down, along side fellow artists such as Matthias Tanzmann, Guti, Ninetoes, Sebo K etc.

The original track was a disco-funk cut up house jam with the spoken word vocal, but we decide to just use the vocal & build a new track around it. We took it into a deeper, jackin, warehouse tech house territory, and it worked a treat. This one KILLS IT!!!! :)

renowned electronic music artists in the industry. 

Paco has moulded his own musical signature, coating the purest techno and tech-house sounds combined with his latin rhythms. 

In 2006 he launched Mindshake, conceived as a platform for the creation and distribution of electronic music. Over the past few years, Mindshake has become one of the most important techno labels in the US and Europe. The brand also presents events around the world and hosts full stages at festivals such as BPM Portugal, ADE Dockyard, among many others.

From 2015, Paco Osuna has been part of Marco Carola’s Music On. In 2016 
he was selected to be ambassador of PLAYdifferently MODEL1.

In 2019, elrow chose Paco as a flagship artist for their new project Kaos Garden, alongside the contemporary artist Okuda San Miguel. 

In the summer of 2022 Paco Osuna presented his residency at Hï Ibiza, the 
best club in the world, launching at the same time NOW HERE, the name and 
also the motto of his night at Hï’s Club Room. The concept behind NOW HERE 
shares the same feeling that has accompanied Paco his entire career, one that arises from his passion for electronic music and his determination to enjoy the 
present ATOPE. Every Tuesday at Hï Ibiza, in Paco Osuna’s Club Room, music 
acted as a catalyst for positive energy and the entire room was a vibrant dance floor where DJs and audience celebrated life together. After the Ibiza Season, NOW HERE hosted events in 2022 Barcelona and at Space Miami.

Throughout his career Paco has performed at clubs, parties and festivals of great prestige. The list of events in which he has played is endless, and is one where quality is more important than quantity.
