Pain Goes Away

From my 2002 release THIS IS MINE
With a heavy heart I wrote this song in 2001 shortly after Sept 11 
with hope that broken spirits would mend, that tears would melt away, 
that those who had lost precious ones would feel love and light from all around and begin to heal.
Writing songs has helped me cope with many things.  As Sept 11 2011 approaches, I'm sharing this one honoring the gift of life & love, those fallen, and the ones who have bravely, and unselfishly put the lives
of others before their own.

Chopin - Ballade No. 3 in A flat major, Op. 47

Living by myself, being quarantined in an apartment, AND working out of my home studio has made me go a little stir crazy!   Here's a bit of optimism for all of us.  I've always loved this song by written Pasek and Paul.  Since I had no one to do the duet with, here's my attempt at singing 2 different styles within the same song.  Please note I wasn't trying to do 2 distinct voices; rather the same voice singing with different nuances, vibrato, and overall feel.  For my advanced vocal students, TAKE NOTE.
