The preliminary results of my Statistical Music Composition research.  For the time being, the methodology was unable to produce structured music.  Therefore almost not any portion of the music is repeating.  Note that the algorithm only generates melodies and chord progressions.  The backings such as instrumental accompaniment and drums were afterwards rendered by a YAMAHA electronic piano.

The structure of this music was manually assigned rather than learned by machines.  It took the structure of "Yesterday" by the Beatles.  I am currently working on the learning and generating of music structures by machines.

stacompo is my research on Statistical Music Composition.  I apply machine learning technology to build up probabilistic models by analyzing hundreds of music lead sheets, and then generate new music by random sampling from these models.  Here are some results.
