The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings finds the label presenting the eighth installment of its celebrated GLBLMVMT series. Since its launch in 2018, the project has showcased region-specific compilations curated by standout local talents, exploring the progressive landscapes of Argentina, Cyprus, India, France, Sri Lanka, Colombia, and Greece. Now for its eighth edition, the focus turns to the Netherlands, with Dutch artist W&DY curating a nine-track journey featuring some of his country's most creative voices in progressive house.

Getting the release underway is a true legend in Dutch electronic music, Jaydee, who delivers the cinematic and groovy sounds of Luna De Sangre. Best known for his 1992 anthem Plastic Dreams, Jaydee's timeless approach continues to influence dancefloors around the globe. Following on is Alex O'Rion, one of the Netherlands' most acclaimed progressive exports, with The Singing Grove, a deep and richly layered piece that showcases his melodic finesse.

Collection curator W&DY steps in next with Tale of Me, a hypnotic and emotionally charged creation that highlights his unique production voice. Rising Dutch talent Miss Dominguez then makes her mark with Silver Crane, a track that blends delicate atmospheres with driving grooves, bridging sophistication and energy. Daniel Testas follows with Mind Reader, an introspective cut filled with subtle motifs and rolling textures.

The collaborative effort Hartstocht comes from Du more and Clay van Dijk, two names pushing the Dutch progressive underground with their fresh sonic vision. Up next is Callecat with Elevation, a piece that lives up to its name, full of bright harmonics and ascending energy. Austin Dest continues the journey with Remouchamps, a deep and atmospheric work that merges groove and storytelling. Concluding the collection is Stage Van H with And the Journey Begins, a fitting closer full of emotive depth and timeless character.

With a carefully curated selection of exclusive tracks, GLBLMVMT 08 – Exploring The Netherlands highlights the country's rich and diverse progressive scene, while adding another essential chapter to the Movement Recordings legacy.

Born as a musician and raised as an artist Jorgo aka Stage Van H counts 25 years of DJ experience! From the first vinyl spinned till nowadays, the flame and true love for music is still alive and burning..!

Stage has been DJing since November '85, playing at major clubs, events and festivals in Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece & the islands, and other Eastern European countries, spinning alongside to players such as Tiesto (playing together since '89 @ Lendte, Breda NL), John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, David Morales, Frankie Knuckles, Remy, Andy Moor, Gabriel & Dresden, Leama, Fabio, Grooverider, ao..

George was torn apart in 2 countries, although born & raised in Netherlands, the warm & solid climat of Greece and the roots deep inside couldnt keep him away for long! 

After a great DJ / Musical Background in Greece, being one of the beginners of the dance music genres' birth in the country, he found DJ Movement Production in early 2005, alongside his young greek studio & booth-mate, Tash. Since then, DJM Productions have been responsible for some very successful events incl. international guests such as Andy Moor, Anthony Pappa, Gabriel & Dresden, Kasey Taylor, Eelke Kleijn, Cjay, Parham & Dominic Plaza, Leama, Gpal, Nikola Gala, Dousk, Vsag, ao..

As a Musician, Stage has been playing the piano since his he was 7, but there was no EDM Genres at that time! Later on, he started working on his own productions (like 'Trip To Paradise' released in Playground CD Compilation '02) after 3 years of living in the UK & attending on various seminars & classes of Sound & Audio Engineering (S.A.E.). 

In '06, after teaming up in the studio with youngster Tash - after moving back in Greece - they released their debut project releases on labels like SOG Records (ch), Presslab Limited (it), Plusquam (de) and Underground Lessons (gr) to name a few, releasing their debut album 'Movement' launching at the same time their own electronic music record-label entitled Movement Recordings!

Nowadays, Stage is living in Amsterdam with numerous hits in the greek field performing on gigs and running the Movement Recordings / Mgmt & Booking Dept.!
