We're afraid the rumours are true - Best Of Stamina Records 2023 (AKA volume MMXXIII) -  brings our popular annual compilation series to a close. After 12 editions of compiling the best of Stamina's yearly output into one handy rundown, 2023's effort will mark the close of the series as we prepare to take an extended and indefinite break in 2024. One final Stamina EP waits in the wings to be released, but for now take a trip down 365 days of memory lane as - for the last time ever - label leader A.B mixes and scratches his way through 15 freeform monsters that have shaped the sound of Stamina over the last year. Featuring outstanding talent as always, such as Transcend, Eryk Orpheus, Rick Chubbs, K-Wire, The Rookie, Stoker, Lost Faith, Lone Raver etc. - as well as of course the leader of the Stamina army, A.B himself. Outforce & Hartshorn Feat MC Riddle - Keep It Mello (S3RL Remix)

Found this amazing acapella on, guess what, the internet. Since i´m hooked on the internet, it was quite obvious that I use  it (and paid for it, no joke). Cut the vocals and struggled with the question if I should leave the break that long or not. I don´t like too long breaks, but this was way too cool not to keep it this way. The solution I thought of was to fade a vocoder into the vocal to make it a bit more exciting. For the rest, it´s a combination of some industrial sounds and an oldschool choir sample (not that original, but cool for a partyvibe).
