Rikki Arkitech is a name synonymous with freeform, with years of quality productions behind him, he's widely regarded as one of the greatest producers to grace our scene. So when he asked to remix A.B & Freedom's purist anthem Bloodline, we of course said YES! Never one to conform to the norm' though, of late Rikki has been dipping his toes firmly into harder territory, brushing up his already immaculate production skills with European 'core flavours, and it's this collision of styles that he's bestowed upon us - taking Bloodline from dark territory to techno-edged heaven. For those that like their 'form that little bit tougher, this one is for you! Over on the 'flip' to Yang territory and it's another supercharged underground and ultra-purist collaboration from A.B & Freedom, who just can't seem to get enough of the dark stuff, as The Seer rings out its menacing and moody call. A brief sniff of an uplifting riff keeps things nicely balanced in-between the twisted vibes rattling out with venom, making for one mean release to complete this killer EP. For Stamina Records Sixty Five we're serving up a break from the norm as we drop a huge package of remixes from up n' coming and established freeformers alike. Leading the charge, the boss A.B steps up with Hedonistik Ritual to rework an iconic track on exclusive license from our friends at Nu Energy - Impact's 2004 Relentless Vinyl anthem 'Phat As F*ck'. Swapping big kicks for the full flavour of freeform, the boys' reimagined modern take on this is guaranteed to blow any set to pieces. Next in line, Tamerax adds more rave flavours to the pot as he updates his own big drum anthem 'Roomshaker', dropping in even more dancefloor energy for another monster update. Completing the Yin trio we welcome Liberty to the label - a DJ and producer hailing from Moscow - who has been honing her freeform production skills and at last unleashes her take on one of Stamina's most iconic tracks, Artificial by Transcend, with devastating results. Rick Chubbs returns to Stamina with another killer two-tracker EP. Having been busy carving a name for uplifting and club-hitting freeform hardcore across a variety of labels, we've nabbed another Yin Yang perfect pairing from the man. Kicking things off 'Let Your Ears Do The Talking' builds itself around a clever vocal ident, haunting chorals and emotional breakdown, that gives way to a massive melody that will melt down dancefloors with ease. Ramping up the freeform content in the latter half of the track, Rick drops in hoovers and acid at high BPMs to ensure it's another Stamina slammer firmly in his arsenal. Switching things up for the Yang side and it's heavy on the psy influences as 'Know The Power' sets the pace with tight basslines and punchy low kicks. A big main melody brings us back to euphoric territory before all hell gets let loose again as the psy section drives the track to its fierce conclusion. A winning EP that adds to Rick's ever-growing Stamina Records catalogue.
