We're always on the lookout for new talent, so when PeRCePTioN appeared in our inbox with a slew of killer demos we knew we had to snap him up for a debut EP. Already appearing as an exclusive artist on our most recent annual Summer Slammers compilation with the original mix of 'Kill Zone', it's label boss A.B who leads the charge on our 56th release bringing the fire with his mammoth 'RWD 2 FFWD' remix. Drawing heavy influence from arguably one of the heydays of freeform  - circa '04/'05 -  A.B goes full-on for the remix with that characteristic warm driving off-bass that signified freeform for so long, along with some throwback hoover Q&As, punishing acid and a big epic original hook that drives it off course from the original, and into new heightened, euphoric territory. Over upon the flip and PeRCePTioN takes us even further back in time, as he channels the foundations of Trancecore through the modern focus of present-day freeform. 'The Theory Of Everything' is a testament to what this man is all about, offering chunky off-beats stabs, big reese basslines, tear-out old school acid and lush pads that will wash you over with ecstasy. Taking freeform worldwide is always on our agenda, and so it's always a privilege when artists from around the globe drop into our catalogue, and even more so when they drop in with two absolutely mammoth tracks! Corey Tamerax is no stranger to our label, having already notched up Stamina hits in the past such as, 'I Got The Beeps', 'PDS', 'Child Forever', 'Drug User', 'Roomshaker' and more. He is also one of few artists pushing the big kick freeform sound, and this EP is no exception. The Yin side leads the way with an east-meets-west electronic fusion, drawing influence from J-core and the Japanese EDM scene - conceptualised via the guise of full-on freeform - with the result sitting perfectly amongst our more recent 'back-to-roots' releases. Think raw basslines on the 16th, sliding synths plus acid n' trance, and you're only halfway to discovering the true club potential of the anthem that is 'Nightfall'. Over on the Yang and Tamerax follows his tradition of pairing the driving with the downright HARD as he takes us into big kick territory via 'Saviour'. Raw and powerful beats bring the fire on this one alongside super-techno reese basslines aplenty, crazy acid lines and a dark and disturbing lead hook. Powerful stuff for our 57th main label Stamina Records release!

Championing a distinctive blend of tech, trance and freeform, the enigmatic production powerhouse delivers on all fronts again with another huge two-tracker. Tearing it up on the Yin-side is 'Konspiracy', an absolute energy-infused freeform workout packed full of clever groovy synth stabs, NRG-style hoovers, lush arps, and a massive main hook. Delivered with a full on and unrelenting pace, this is peak-time, heads-down pure and underground freeform - utterly ballistic stuff. On the Yang-side 'Rise Above' goes even further down the freeform rabbit hole as our man fuses tech-trance techniques through the souped-up framework of higher tempo music.
