If New York’s Roxy nightclub emerged from the colourful blocks of Brazil, there's no doubt these tracks would be the carnival sound clash heard on hard rotation. Brooklyn percussionist Eugene Tambourine, aka The Lemko Unlimited Orchestra, has created new renditions of disco hits, giving them the rhythmic going over they didn’t know they needed. It’s the artist’s tale of NYC clubbing in the 1980’s, infused with a raucous, fiery Latin attitude. A package expertly mixed by Darshan Jesrani.

‘Pathways’ is a mashup, interpolating hooks from Fingers Inc’s ‘A Path’ in clever combinations with Ralph Macdonald’s much sampled ‘The Path.’

You’ll no doubt recognise ‘K.G.E.T.’ from the original ‘K-Jee’ funk bomb by The Nite-Liters in 1971, later covered famously by MFSB. Eugene updates the tune with disco-era style, flowing live and carrying the torch onwards from the bands back in the day.

Stripped back ‘Versions’ have been recorded of both tracks, giving you raw drums & acidic brawn. These are dj dubs focused on the dance floor, the real deal from The Lemko Unlimited Orchestra on Balearic.

My Friend Dario is in a real creative purple patch, and Hell Yeah are helping him get his music out there in quick time this spring. After the first two track single My Friend Andrea / Horn comes a second one Tora / Kiki, that shows off yet another side to the Italian producer.

Dario has a sound infused with world music and has released a number of EPs on this label before, recently remixed Calm, and has formerly collaborated with label boss Marco during their breakbeat days. His music always gets big support from disco and balearic communities around the world and he has many different styles in his arsenal.

'Tora' is a rich and supple roller with lush synths, drums and bass all making groovy pillows in which to sink your mind. It's subtly joyous and brims with feel good musical vibes as it fuses house, downtempo, synth and disco in perfect fashion. The golden glows of 'Kiki' are a little more loose, with playful bass riffs and glowing chords rubbing up next to rump-wiggling percussion that will soundtrack the moment the sun disappears and the party gets a little more mischievous.

As well as these two EPs on Hell Yeah, Dario has a new live show ready to go and vinyl EP in conjunction with Phat Phil Cooper's NuNorthern Soul label so there is no stopping him now.

Hell Yeah welcomes the red hot pairing of Tuccillo and Willie Graff for a new four track EP that includes 'Gliding', as heard on the recent Buena Onda compilation. This is a serious serving for real DJs only.

Willie Graff & Tuccillo have been cooking up their delicious deep house dishes for more than a decade now on labels like Finale Sessions, Freerange and Circus Company. Tuccillo is also behind the Balearic Gabba classic 'Solo un Delay', and Graff - a born and bred White Isle native, who is also a long time cohort of Kenneth Bager`s Music For Dreams - is the youngest person to ever have a residency at the legendary Pacha nightclub. They have a rich sound palette that gets all horizontal and Mediterranean across these four fresh new tracks.

Day Side opener 'Crystal Ball' has a nimble bassline and bouncing kicks that get you on your toes while the lush synths do a playful dance up top. The excellent 'Gliding' track from the Buena Onda compilation is a super go slow anthem with scuffed up claps and lazy kicks that take you on a real trip far out to sea.

Flip on the Night Side and 'The Moment' picks up the pace, exploring late night deep house with a melodic air, distant whistles and subtle acid sounds that make for a tropical beach rave. Last of all, 'Tic Tac' is six minutes of dreamy rhythmic bliss, with delicate drums and new age ambiance washing over you like a cooling Azure breeze.

These are classy DJ weapons for those who know.
