To participate in the Haiku Music challenge::

- Make a song in response to the weekly assigned poem (a new poem is published every Wednesday)
- When choosing a title for your piece also include the assignment number, for example “Title of your track (naviarhaiku382)”

- If you’re a Soundcloud user, upload it on Soundcloud and send me the URL via private message, or tag me in the track.
- If you upload your music on Youtube, Bandcamp or anywhere else, upload your submission and then send me the link by email at marco@naviarrecords.com or contact me on X, Facebook or Instagram

Oui, je connais mon pêché, ma faute est toujours devant moi. Contre toi, et toi seul, j'ai pêché, ce qui est mal à tes yeux, je l'ai fait. Ainsi, tu peux parler et montrer ta justice, être juge et montrer ta victoire. Moi, je suis né dans la faute, j'étais pêcheur dès le sein de ma mère. Mais tu veux au fond de moi la vérité;  dans le secret, tu m'apprends la sagesse. Purifie-moi avec l'hysope, et je serai pur; lave-moi et je serai blanc, plus que la neige. Fais que j'entende les chants et la fête : ils danseront, les os que tu broyais. Détourne ta face de mes fautes, enlève tous mes pêchés. Crée en moi un coeur pur, ô mon Dieu, renouvelle et raffermis au fond de moi mon Esprit. Ne me chasse pas loin de ta face, ne me reprends pas ton Esprit Saint. Rends-moi la joie d'être sauvé; que l'Esprit généreux me soutienne. Aux pêcheurs, j'enseignerai tes chemins; vers toi, reviendront les égarés. As customary, the first haiku of the year is by Kobayashi Issa.

Among the four great masters of Japanese haiku, Kobayashi Issa (1763-1828) was the most prolific: during his lifetime he wrote over 20,000 haiku, hundreds of tanka, and several haibun.

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
