lighter than the ink on the tip of my feather
no cosmic reptile will feed on my soul
as blank as a page in my future's ledger
a hologram shard reveals the whole

autumn leaves cover the footprints behind me
winter snow rests undisturbed
the threshold stone lights up to blind me
a dragon lies sleeping unperturbed

Maeda Fura (1884–1954) was a Japanese haiku poet. In 1912 he published in the journal Hototogisu, where his work was praised by Takahama Kyoshi, who called him one of the best haiku poets of his time. A journalist by profession, Fura lost his possessions in the 1923 Great Kantō Earthquake and after years of travelling, returned to Tokyo, where he died in 1954.

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
