Little song for Kinsha haiku:
"Some starlight
spared from being scooped up
four-handed net."

The title “Llum recollida amb les mans" in my island language is like "Light gathered in the hands” trying to evoke the image of the haiku where light is harvested with a single gesture, as if it were a living substance. The literal translation of haiku takes on another meaning, and the words must be changed so that they have the same poetic meaning.

some starlight [naviarhaiku620]

This one started as a simple electric-guitar-and-bass progression, just a rough idea that wasn’t really going anywhere. This week I expanded it with several synth layers and some floating eBow lines.
Funny enough, the little gimmick in the middle section ended up giving the track its shape — a kind of slow, climatic crescendo that finally brought it to life.

I re-recorded that line as an intro today. The whole track is still a floating, meandering, blurry ambient groove, but there’s a certain beauty in that haze.

Inspired by this naviarhaiku620 poem:

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then.
