Sometimes I wonder why we live…why all of this?  To live is such a confusing and mysterious endeavour. To fill our time with what? To amass things for what? To create for what?  

Everything we do, is because we have not been given a choice. We were brought here to live from moment to moment…from birth, to old age and then fade away.  Everything we are disappears and yet we carry on in the love we have left behind in the strangest of places…the tiniest of spaces…in the hearts of those we touched. 

So to live is to love…the active sense of love. Love in action, in creation, in sharing, in growing, in offering moments of joy and respite to those we meet along this journey. To smile and laugh and feel the joy of purely being alive…we live for those moments.  

To transform our scars into stars is our destiny…to help those around us do the same, is an even greater blessing. 

Today, I am transforming some scars into stars for myself…and to heal some of the deep wounds inside me. This in turn will resound to those near me and around me…

My blessings are great…I am deeply humbled and crumbled…as I open up to new spaces within and out…my heart cannot contain the gratefulness I feel to everyone and everything around me.  

This music is born of this energy.

you feel its weight as you hold it
text, texture, eerily gossamer
translucent when properly lit

you flip the pages forth and back
adapting your mental state
inhaling white, deciphering black
creating approaches to recreate

when something strikes you, bold
a perspective that's never been yours
you circle around it, trying to hold
its flight, detect where it moors

stubbornly liminal, elusively real
sheer force to broaden your scope
to include it, allow it to heal
from your onslaught, allow you to cope

catching up on the fine print
concludes your reading session
shivering still from a catching a glint
of mind's light when in transgression

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
