Welcome to Finding the Monster Within.

An ambient (and very minimal) set made in October 2024.
This is the seventh in a series of ambient sets that I am releasing each month.

This set has a darker tone than the previous ones in this series.
It was made as I prepared for a Dark Ambient performance for Støyscene in Drammen Norway.

- Changes since original upload... Magnetic sounding bass added throughout... Magneto sounding fast key lead added also... a rapid arpeggio... not sure of a term for that if there is one - Sung properly / Piano added for outro / Tribal percussion marked for a cool end... wasn't planned but just came out that way so may as well continue that and make it even more cool.. Magnetars are fucking cool after all... They are formed from one in ten supernovas. The other 9 create neutron stars..

You can't see a Magnetar... But it's one of if not the most powerful things in the Universe! Yeah... Thats what this song about... A magnetar! The best magnetar around... Oh nd the closest one is.... 8000 light years away apparently! And we've found 29 in the Milky Way so far...

Early In The Morning

I love listening to & creating ambient, dark ambient, avant-garde & experimental electronica (and the occasional beatscape). I have no professional aspirations  - I just really like creating music / manipulating sounds. It's my way of relaxing after a hard day at the office. All my tracks are produced using monitoring headphones (Audix A140) so I recommend that you listen to my music through headphones. My DAW of choice is FL Studio. I also use Reason every now & then. 


To the artists I follow; I do my best to try to listen to as many of your tracks as possible each night (I listen to each track all the way through - you went through the effort to create a track so you deserve to have it heard in full). If I miss a recent upload of yours, please forgive me...
