Fabio Ape (@fabioape) is a Brazilian music producer who is always looking for sound rarities. A real born researcher. He was born on São Paulo but currently based on Florianópolis. Your perspective on music is full-passion. That passion truly shows, embodied in his deep range of selections, that he always wants to be an open-minded. He believes 120% in the potential of the Brazilian scene:  djs, musicians, independent bands and also new labels.
For this 57th edition he prepared an authorial mix laced with the dubby overtones and some of the finest mixing you’re likely to hear, which also includes two songs of his two pseudonyms. The first one under the name of Sabiá Discos which is a project in partnership with his friend Tomas; where they b2b vinyl records to appreciate the sublime art of the groove. The second one is a project called Dj Careta which is a strong-partner with his youthful friends. All tracks on this edition are unreleased. By the look of it Fabio shows his side-B productions with aphrodisiac properties. There's no doubt that you're about to de delighted by a piece of a good taste authorial work. Please do not hesitate!

Hauy - Blue Moon (Get Weird)

Toronto-based Brazilian Hauy steps up on Lee Burridge's inimitable Get Weird imprint with a lush three tracker in tow. The release, which drops January 20th on digital and shortly after on vinyl (Feb 3rd), features an exquisite electronic blend, which is just as at home on the playa as it is in the club. 'Your Way To Paradise' leads the line, a track you can hear in full premiere on When We Dip today, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Hauy has assembled a seductive seven minute beauty that rides on a supreme groove. The backdrop is shrouded in an uplifting and hypnotic melange of melodic textures, which come together in the main breakdown around an engrossing crescendo.

A persistent patron of the underground, turned DJ at many prime dance floors in the city, he’s recognized for his positive energy and style in person and in the booth.

Growing his night life roots as Pasha, his major reputation comes from the Night Vision project with partner-in-crime Room 303. Already on deck for BPM and SXMusic festival, you’ll be hearing a lot from them in 2016.
