Ilhan Mustafi Sarajevo, alias Lucius, a Stuttgart based producer and DJ paving his way through the German underground techno scene with his groovy but hard hitting style got introduced to electronic music as a teenager with Deep and Tech House. Standing Wave Podcast [012] - Lucius

Leopold Bär experienced techno music at the age of 14 trough a various artist cd called Favorite Tools. Soon he started putting together his favorite tracks on tapes and started playing with a very simple setup, which then grew over the years. Now he's playing a four deck setup.
Over the years he began to listen to other musical styles such as blues and punk, but he always remained deeply rooted in techno and never gave up producing and djing.

With a deep appreciation for music all through his life, he knew as he experienced techno for the first time, that this was something special he wanted to be a part of. With a lot of experience playing several instruments since he was little and practicing with different genres he got to the point where he is right now. Our Standing Wave Records resident RAVST Stegatron (@stegatron1) put together a new year's eve podcast! Thanks for the support you gave us in 2020. As a small label starting out in october 2020, we connected a lot of artists and listeners with our podcast series.

IZZY grew up by listening to a lot of Dubstep back in the days. He fell in love with glitchy sound design and computer noises while listening to his library full of primarily Dubstep and Bass House. In the early days he was playing around with virtual dj creating mixtapes for friends. 
As he got introduced to the techno world by his friends and other local djs of the Stuttgarter scene, he began to combine his knowledge of the underground glitchy dubstep world with driving techno tunes. As a dj he enjoys experimenting with cross-genre sounds to create a unique experience.
