This mix goes out to everyone who is graduating, or has finished finals, or is almost done with finals. You've been working hard, so take a step back, take a short break, and turn up once in a while. You deserve it. Even if you don't think it's much, you still did it, and that's what matters. You didn't sit back and watch, you pushed harder and harder every time something came at you. You were knocked onto your feet, overwhelmed, but you stood up. Everything you've done, for the people you love, for yourself, and for those who love you will not go unnoticed. Take a step forward, but remember to have fun and never get too comfortable. Try new things, put your maximum effort into everything, and don't expect anything in return. The more you give, the more you get.

Stan D - Bloom

I know it's been a while since my last mix. I'm going to change things up just a little. I'll be releasing mixes that are a little longer, but once every two weeks on Saturdays. I feel like doing this will allow me to find more new music, and keep things fresh. 

This mix is about failure and improvement. If you fail, get back up and keep pushing. You are the only one who can improve yourself. Do not let anger or temporary thoughts consume you. Think about the future. Take it one step at a time, and don't move too quickly. There is a long journey ahead of you. A lot of learning to do. But you can do it. You can push and keep moving forward because you are strong. You control your own life. Don't go with the flow. Create it.

Think of me when smashing Vol. 6 - Fall and Get Back Up.

I decided to release a single before I go off to Japan. Maybe the name of the song doesn't really fit the style, but it's cool because I'm going to be leaving tonight for a while. Adventure awaits me! This song also stays very true to my original and favorite style of music. I feel like it's one of my best produced as well, keeping it really simple and clean, but also with another dimension of complexity. I feel like I've opened a new door to creativity by incorporating much more to my songs with whatever instrument or sample I find. I have been using the hell out of my ears to produce, realized that some of my speakers are jacked up, and instead have been using some great ass headphones.

Stan D - Before I Go

After about a month or so, I've finally released Think Of Me When Smashing Vol. 7! It's called hours because I spent a lot of time practicing the transitions and not trying to mess up. I had all the tracks in line, cue points made so I know when I know when to transition, and I just sat in my room practicing it over and over again.
