I wrote this song last year in the middle of the night. I was alone in my room and I was just thinking about all of the people that I have lost due to them lying to me or being unfaithful. Less than an hour later song was finished. I think that a lot of people will be able to relate to this song and I think that it has a potential.

This song was loosely based off of Jonas's prayer in Jonah 2. Although there are many ways to interpret this book/story, I am continually awestruck that God would choose to save Jonas knowing that he would wander again so quickly after delivering his message to the Ninevites. God knew this, he knows everything, but still He sought Jonah out and used him to accomplish His plans. In the same way, God chose to offer this salvation to all of humanity through His death on the cross. He is seeking me out, waiting to forgive me of my sins and use me for his plans. He has seen my shame, he knows everything I have done and will do, and still He loves me and shows me mercy. Praise God, because He is worthy.
