“Passages” is our very first Various Artist EP including a variety of sounds by nine beloved Artists. It marks the beginning of our fundraising campaign, including an event @://about blank and a t-shirt sale on our bandcamp page. In doing so, we want to raise awareness of an issue that keeps losing public awareness. In the hope of finding safety and protection in Europe and a fair asylum procedure, people are forced to cross the Mediterranean Sea in unseaworthy boats. Not only are state authorities and the European Union refusing to provide humanitarian aid, they are criminalizing civil sea rescue.
Because of this ongoing situation, we have started another fundraising campaign in order to make a small contribution to the essential work of Sea-Watch e.V. Their main goal is to try to save as many people as possible from drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, they are committed to educating people about human rights violations at the European borders, for example with their podcast “Grenzerfahrung”.
All the collected proceeds of the EP will go straight to Sea-Watch e.V..
The EP will be released on November 4th on Bandcamp and is going to be available for pre-order in the upcoming days.

San Francisco-based Vertigo draws in crowds with her percussive bass lines, glitchy textures, dub-inspired melodies, and eerie synth leads. As a member of the Vitamin1000 Energy Crew, Vertigo never fails to deliver an eclectic synergy of techno, electro, and breaks. She brings the momentum of her live shows onto her monthly Fault Radio residency, MOTION SICKNESS, as well as streams on The Lot Radio, SF-based HydeFM, and Oakland-based Lower Grand Radio. Vertigo has supported notable DJs that include DJ Stingray, Overmono, LCY, Toma Kami, X Club, and X-Coast.

"I’ve been really drawn to the 2000s electro and breaks sound lately, while also listening to techno with a lot of trance and dub elements. I tried to combine those and create a mix that traverses all these sounds, and while it has its high energy moments, some of my favorite moments are the more spacious and melodic blends. This really pushed me to bring all my new influences together with old classics to capture the lighter side of how my sound has grown over the last year since my first supplement. "
