Sorting out through old photos while it rains

A peaceful, ambient indie folk track that drifts through introspection and stillness. The Forest Song captures the quiet magic of nature where the stars touch your skin, the waves never falter, and the forest gently leads you home. Journey to the Dream

He could not bring himself from bed as the alarm pounded against the wall of his skull. The sun snuck into the room through a couple bent blinds and although it bothered him it wasn't enough to raise him. The song began to play and he looked at the light streaks that cut through the dust in his room - suspended by apathy. 

He rolled over to turn the alarm off, and while there, noticed the small box of mementos he must have rifled through last night while he was drunk. He hesitated to put himself through this again, but in the spirit of self-destruction, opened the box, and looked through all the pictures once more - reliving every moment.
