Every now and then we come across a gem hidden in the depths of Soundcloud, unheard and undiscovered, waiting for their music to grace the world's ears. Making soft, soothing, piano laden goodness, we got in touch with Latvian beat maker <a href="https://www.facebook.com/broove"> Broove </a> to kindly ask him to create this week's Slumber Session and boy has he delivered. "I had a dream. It was a regular day – with a big, sleepy yawn I stood up from the bed, washed my face, ate a peanut butter sandwich, put up my clothes, and started to pack my bag for the university. When I was ready, I came to the door to open it, but couldn’t do it. Something wasn’t right. I tried to open it again, and only then I saw how my hand went through the door handle. Immediately after realizing that, I found myself lying in the same bed, thinking „What the hell just happened? Was it a dream? It was so real!” I’ve never been so confused in my life. Saturday night at the Fusion Festival, Stimming has just played a dark & stormy set. The Bachstelzen floor is something like a looney zoo and i am at the centre dressed in my jail break outfit in control for the next 2 hours.

Massive thanks to all the crew at Bachstelzen for such a wonderful production and to the fantastic crowd for screaming, shouting and all the wild dance moves. The vibe of the set was one to be remember.

Even though Marc Faenger has only been releasing records for a handful of years, he's managed to not only share a stage to one of his own personal heroes but the said personal hero also signed him up as part of his esteemed label. Faenger is now amongst a lucky few to be counted as part of Richie Hawtin's Minus camp - with the label boss picking up on his earliest studio creations and instantly signing him up. It's been a fun ride under the master Hawtin's wing so far which is bringing the Dusseldorf resident’s moniker to Farringdon for his Room One debut this August. Of course we jumped at the opportunity to get the lowdown on his story so far...

What an amazing morning with my London family, I finally know what all the fuss is about with Corsica Studio's, dark and dingy but with a great sound system, all you need for a party! The first 20 minutes are lost as I forgot to hit record! Doh! Enjoy :)

The Brodanse name has been brewing over the past year or so. As the brains behind the aptly named, Danse Club imprint, brothers Austin and Scott Smart are in some ways relatively new to the scene in terms of their outputs and their self-conducted label, Danse Club Records. Yet, their fairly clear-cut take on the current four four splurge has championed a handful of high level support from the likes of Carl Cox, Skream and Groove Armada even going onto collaborate with the latter in the studio.  Dripping with what they describe as "straight up house and techno", there's not much else to say other that their overall ethos behind the Brodanse enterprise  is what seems to be driving their success, one that is refreshingly simple when all it focuses on is nothing but good, solid music that makes you want to dance. 

Making their debut as the brothers perform their live show for the very first time, the Danse Club dynamos have kindly fired over an exclusive new mix to help amp up the anticipation just a month ahead of the aforementioned night, whilst giving us the low down on what's in store for them over the next coming months...

Flying in just a day before Richie Hawtin's flagship Minus imprint ventures back to Room One, this next fabric x Minus Mix comes from a duo hotly tipped for greatness. Hailing from Birmingham, Whyt Noyz are the solid partnership of David Sidley and Duncan Murray, long-time friends whose act in exchanging beats has become the starting point for a strong pursuit. Snapped up by Hawtin early on in their venture, the pairs' twisted and forward thinking techno seems to be on par with the Hawtin's agenda, fitting in perfectly with Minus’s legacy of rolling and effective dancefloor beats. Speaking to the guys ahead of their set this coming Saturday, it's pretty clear that they are more than excited to be a part of Minus' growing heritage, something that will no doubt be illustrated sonically when they join Hawtin and fellow stalwart, Marc Faenger in the Room One booth this weekend.
  
So although advance tickets might be fully sold out (please note that you can still buy tickets on the door) we think there's no harm in helping to ramp up the anticipation for what lies ahead by sharing this new and exclusive mix, a feast of selections that they describe as "the kind of tracks you'd find in the final hour"...
