Dreamland is the new feel-good anthem from the undisputed heavyweights of breaks, the Plump DJs. Ravers with a keen ear will recognize the vocal sample from the early days of drum n bass, although this 2022 rework delivers an entirely new spin.   

Over the past few months we have witnessed epic scenes of the Plump DJs playing sold-out shows including Stanton Sessions and their BreakOut tour in Australia - and the unanimous top tune of these nights? Dreamland.

Newcomers Dirty Supercar flip the script with a summery disco-house rework ensuring this release has something for everyone.

Slyde are back at it yet again. 2011 will see the duo’s label ‘Slybeats’ unleash a barrage of cutting-edge dance floor destroyers and Slybeats 007 proves to be the new beginning for the world famous production wizards.

A funked up crowd pleaser worthy of a no less than a peak set slot, Escapism is impossible to keep still too. The deep, grooving bassline punches through the track from the off as an infectious electronic melody darts across the beats. This gold standard record bag bomb further proves Slyde’s ability to dominate in both the production and DJing fields, and looks set to impress on dancefloors worldwide.

Dirty Moolah has been brought back into the fold with another signature remix which takes the original, turns it on its head, eats it up and spits it out in their unique New York House style. I first met Klaus in the early 2000’s while I was playing the backroom of ‘The End’ nightclub in London. I’ll be honest, he scared me a little when I first me him! Ha ha. He certainly had his tough guy guard up and was making sure he gave me a good ‘suss out’ before he made any executive decisions as to whether or not this ‘Kid’ from OZ was actually any good (to this day he claims my set was shit that night but I swear I rocked it! Ha ha). But that kind of attitude was part and parcel of the old days, when stripes were earned, not just given because you had shitloads of Facebook or Instagram followers. That said, when I connected with him and Jay Cunning a little while later to play on their radio show I made sure to bring the hardest breaks I had! Ha! Fast forward a few odd years and Klaus emailed me saying he was moving to OZ. I was very excited about that as I knew more top quality producers is just what we needed at that point in time (hardly any DJ’s wrote their own music in those days). I’ve learnt so much watching Klaus work over the years and he’s always been very forthcoming with his knowledge, even though my OCD drove him insane over the years (of course, he told me so himself). And although it’s gone from benders to babies in the time that we’ve known each other, there are some things that never change. Who know’s what we’ll be dropping at our grandkids 21st’s! With that in mind, I’m pretty excited to be dropping this ‘previously only available on limited edition white label vinyl’ remix Klaus and I did of the Beastie Boys tune ‘Triple Trouble’ around 2004. Still sounds pretty phat if you ask me, especially with Klaus’s dope 2016 remaster! Enjoy! KK x
