STAR-Tronic is a passionate DJ & Producer, where Music was always a big part of his Life since he can think.
Thomas aka STAR-Tronic began his first baby steps of mastering an instrument with the age of 5 and got 6 years lessons on an electric organ. He grew up in the same influence of the media industry(TV, Charts, etc.) as anyone else and found himself liking upbeat music with a lot of Groove from Hip Hop to Drum N Bass, Jungle, House, Goa and so on. He was so driving by the music, that he decided to start setting a little home studio up when he reached the age of 13. His Studio consisted on ATARI & Cubase VST in use with two Synthesizer, one Multi effect processor, a 12 line Studio mixer & a Techniks midi keyboard. It was of course the beginning of his journey to experiment into sound shaping, lining up his tracks and learning how this technology will bring him closer to reflect his creativity and bring it to tape for others to listen to. He researched into different music genres, tried to listen to what makes the songs as spectacular as they are & what his little equipment could accomplish. One thing was still very clear to Thomas. His music had to be produced upbeat or had to have enough groove. STAR-Tronic got his first turntables with the age of 16 and start pushing records like there was no tomorrow. He wasn't long about impressing his closer circle of friends & colleagues and got to show his skills on some events. As the time went on, he upgraded to more modern ways of production using MAC Pro and programs like Reason. While he got more known by mixing and demonstrating his own productions on parties; Thomas decided to leave Germany with 21 years of age to go after his now biggest supporter (Liz) to Ireland. who pushed him back into the music direction after travelling around the globe for a period of time. It was time to pick up where he left off and STAR-Tronic started to buy production equipment & mixing gear again. He had to get with the new ways of digital mixing, where the Traktor S4 became his new friend and it didn't take long before you heard him mixing on one of Berlins finest online club radio Shouted FM. He was offered a weekly Show slot, which found quickly followers, while he was arranging his own House Music Party's very successfully. After 1,5 years of his well known show, his talent was heard by Europe biggest online radio Rautemusik.FM and he was offered a weekly radio podcast on their Tech House stream.
