Starcontrol is a band whose sound, hybrid of new wave sonority, post–punk lures, eighties and contemporary sparks, has been called by some “spleen wave”. 
Their music is the melancholy of an endless, hanging in the blue, midsummer afternoon, a punk urgency procrastinated for tea time, a memory of nights spent stealing cobs with friends, the ‘mal de vivre’ that seats in front of you in an empty room under the light of a bulb,  the attempt of bringing back something lost, an hope.
