Bob Power At It Again (NYC Mix)

On October 10, 2025 Star Creature hosted a Techno Kayō Takeover: Rush Hour invaded Star Creature Vibes Radio for a special session of selections from and inspired by the recently released Techno Kayō Volume 1 compilation. Curated by two of the world's finest selectors and influential sound purveyors, Antal from Rush Hour in Amsterdam and Dubby from Ondas in Tokyo, the pair dive deep into the Japanese underground of obscure and abstract proto electro synth pop and boogie.

We got loose for over 4 hours worth of sonic explorations. The first hour is Antal playing some of his favorite Techno Kayō tracks followed by Dubby with a 30 minute mix of his faves.

The next hour begins the celebration of the newly released  Byron The Aquarius - Global Caress EP which was released to stores worldwide on October 10. Tim Zawada selects a few tracks from the record and mixes in a couple newer house leaning releases on Star Creature plus teases some upcoming white labels from artists such as LLL, Manny Steelo and Arsene. 

The final hour winds down with with TZ providing a selection of rare grooves, disco, boogie and jazz from around the world.
