It is nearly impossible to get invited into the lodge of the Castafarian Keepers. Only the members of privileged orders or fearless warriors may find their names amongst the honored guests. However, there are rare purification sessions that summon musical healers — their role is to prepare the sensory environment for meditative practice.

It all begins with gentle swaying, as the local elders begin the process of mana restoration. The enchanting ritual continues until the rhythmic vortexes subside. This time, Ioann Texture has been requested to guide the ceremony. Behind closed doors, the chosen are gathering to taste the brew made from ancient ingredients, share experiences of telepathic communion, and call upon the Great Mind to protect their lands.

LOSOUL is back on SLICES OF LIFE with two minimal house gems!

Frankfurt-based DJ and producer legend @losoul  is renowned for his unique sonic language and deep, captivating grooves.
On his latest release for the Berlin imprint, the tracks take us on a journey back to the roots of minimal house - raw, stripped-down, and deeply immersive.

"Post Service Pop" on the A-side flows deep and funky, spreading pads like hot oil, topped with subtly modulated vocal snippets.

"Modesty Bump" on the B-side dives into rawer territory with high-energy sounds and edgy sonic sparkles, while maintaining that minimalistic, steady, driving groove we all love in Losoul’s work: groovers and grinders for the long-distance runner’s soundtrack.

Hailing from Barcelona, Lis Sarocca is an artist very much on the rise and her ever growing discography will go some way to explain why. She has starred on standout releases from the likes of MAAI, Tresydos, Smallville, Chiwax, Shall Not Fade, a vintage Mobilee entry, and the excellent collab between Anna Walls’ The Bricks and System Error. 

A regular fixture at some of Europe and America’s finest parties, she has written a line under a fantastic summer with a lauded performance at this year’s Dimensions Festival. There is no sign of the Spaniard turning in for the year as she continues to light up dancefloors wherever she appears.

Her recording for our InSession series is testament to this and her sunny disposition shines through in this mix as she guides us through bass heavy, breaky goodness, dubby deep house, with stop offs in wiggly disco heaters and more than a few wonky stations along the way.

We are glad to present young Italian pair Koko & Nicolo Borgi's deeper-than-deep contribution 'Nor Gri'. The track floats in a mystic haze, surrounded by organic drips and downy green folds, as its slow-paced pads and mineral drums crystallise around a rather zestful groove. The choir of children coming in after the third minute instantly reminisces of Ricardo Villalobos' 'Enfants (Chants)', a kinship which we're sure the two of them should be very much proud of.
