Steve Lawler returns to Circus Recordings for his Debut EP on the label for his release, ‘Dissonance’ which pays homage to the cult classic track, ‘Knights Of The Jaguar’. Steve Lawler joins the Circus roster as an artist who has conquered all before him and delivers a timeless classic in the form of ‘Dissonance’.

Steve Lawler is one of the most recognisable names in the dance music industry, from his label VIVA MUSiC to his Warriors Events in Ibiza and across the globe, his reputation proceeds him. An artist who has worked tirelessly to defy the genre boundaries and pioneer the House sounds we hear today, with his own productions on labels such as Drumcode, Cocoon, Moon Harbour, Knee Deep In Sound & beyond. However, all this was a culmination of everything that came before; Illegal Raves in the 90’s, a residency at Cream, Liverpool with further residencies at legendary Ibizan nightclub, Space and London’s The End, all brought this dynamic and driven artist to the fore.

Steve Lawler - Dissonance

Stardust was a one-time musical collaborative effort consisting of producers Thomas Bangalter, Alan Braxe, and vocalist Benjamin Diamond. They released their only single and anthem, "Music Sounds Better with You", on 20 July 1998.

The video for "Music Sounds Better with You" was directed by Michel Gondry. It features a boy who has just purchased a toy plane. Back at home, while he builds his plane, he switches channels on his TV to a program which features the top 5 chart songs. Some of the music videos shown have Stardust themselves singing their new song and others, which have a resemblance of 80s music videos including Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love".

In 2018, Braxe and Diamond revealed that they and Bangalter returned to the studio to work on a remastered version of "Music Sounds Better with You" for the song’s twentieth anniversary re-release. This version is now reissued since June 28th 2019.
