Like all of the tracks on this album, this one was recorded by Brady, with one mic in an old two-story school house in Yellow Springs, Ohio.  Mixing and additional instrumentation took place in Ryan's apartment in East Hollywood.  This song in particular was written and recorded in a single session.  The saw was added later in LA, and was recorded in one or two takes.  The player wanted to come back and record some more takes but we felt that the spontaneity of the performance matched Brady's original rendering of the song.
