Morning is here!
Night is over, finally.
The last of the leaves sauntering down.
Sunlight chooses its morning targets cascading warmth.

Wandering through the alleys of my mind I remember
The nightmare left behind.
Was it real?
Did it really happen?
Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference.

Clearly the reality of last night’s moments appear.
Shuddering, seeing, believing that fairness between people
	Is only a rule in game not always upheld.
I seek sanction in the morning that is here.

Let the night time lay.
Enjoy the rays.
The past is the past.

I didn’t expect a gift.
I expected dinner.

She waited.
She smiled.
She called me Keta — like it was already mine.

She had been there before I returned.
Not watching.
Just knowing.

She gave me a ring.
No story.
No reason.
Only presence.

I wear it quietly.
Not as jewelry.
As memory.

Tonight, gratitude found a voice.
It became a song.
It became still.

Some people don’t do much.
They just make the world softer.

Thank you to all the beautiful souls at Amnaya Resort Nusa Dua, Bali — this moment stays with me.
