I know you've all been waiting for this one. We're Up - You're Down without those popping bubbles. This one is completely from the master tapes, with the entire intro to the song and separate background singers. Make sure to put on your stereo headset for this one ;)

Since this is almost an acapella, I used different techniques this time to get the best out of the track. Recutting a guitar instrumental to remove sound effects wasn't the funniest thing to do. :)

Eagerly awaited - here it is. It's basically only a mono to stereo upmix because the entire show has no other elements of this song I could use, but I did the best I could. 

Jem Girl Theme II (Kai Woodland Mix)

This version is mixed from one of the few DAT recordings of the show. So, no disturbing noises by racing cars or rabbits poppin' outta books. Also this is the original length of the song. No extended parts or cuts, like we've seen in the two episodes it was featured in. You're welcome ;)

Usually I upload different versions of one song on the same day, anyway this one needed a little more cooking.
This time I edited some ambiance in, instead of out, to give it a "live" feeling, and bring it closer to the version of the show. But this time the transition from the intro to the song is on beat. The version of the episode wasn't. I hope this sounds like one piece. :)

Remastered, remixed and re-edited versions of the songs from the 80's cartoon Jem. This is a non profit project I'm doing for myself, and many others who also love Jem and The Holograms.

I strongly recommend using headphones or speakers for listening to these songs. Some of the effects used don't sound well squeezed through a mono source.

Please realize I've spent hours, days, weeks and sometimes even years to make them sound as they do now, without any personal gain. Taking them without permission, and claiming them their own, or selling them on ebay is NOT COOL!
