Politician, nuclear fission, who can we trust to make a decision?
Radiation, man's creation, city and nation in disintegration
Patterns splatter, what does it matter?
The thin get thinner and the fat get fatter
Desperation, aggravation, feeling frustration with the situation
Mind pollution, all illusion, in the confusion we need a solution

if we don't change now, we're gonna cry
You know we can change now, we gotta try
Because there's more going on than meets the eye
The mighty messengers of Light are drawing nigh

They speak in true tongues of fire
A living language of light
They bid we turn our eyes higher
And set the planet aright
They wield the sword of blue steel
A double-edged blade of truth
As secrets once held concealed
Are now revealed in full proof
So see before us how they hold the mirror
Come look into it and see
Our soul reflection so clear
What was and is and will be

Raindrops, like her tears are falling 
she’s a gentle spirit calling to the children of the Earth
Dolphins, in the waves are playing.  Can you hear what they are saying? 
They hold the wisdom of the sea
       Far away, how were they to know how far they would have to go? 
       These messengers, gentle teachers of the deep
to awaken a sleeping humanity from a dark and restless sleep

Angel, beamed to earth upon a golden ray
How long did she stay? Not very long
Heaven’s bird, flew down and landed with a broken wing
We hear the message that she brings, itʻs in her song
       Far away, how was she to know how far she would have to go? 
       Maybe together we can find a way 
to make a pearl of the sand so we can understand the purpose in the pain 

Golden ones, reflections of the far off central sun 
how long has been this journey weʻve been traveling?
Rainbow hues, refracted through the prism of the One 
to illuminate this mystery unraveling
       Far away, how were we to know how far we would have to go? 
       To join again, here together in this way
to celebrate each other and the dawning of the day

Family, we circle round in love and joy and trust
The living presence of our unity is growing 
Compassionate, we spin our dreams anew up from the dust
The garden of this Earth is what weʻre sowing
       Far away, how were we to know how far we would have to go? 
       To live to make this cosmic dream come true
to see a world of happy children in a Garden Earth made new
