My intention in having produced "The Remembrance", my second release as Starseed, is that it would pay homage to the threshold at which we stand as a human species; this time to me is a call for us to remember the sacredness of our creative essence, and as we do so, we acknowledge the profundity and divinity of our connection to one another and to the entire Earth and Cosmos in turn, and we tap into our own source of love and light instead of looking to something outside of ourselves. We are remembering that when we utilize our unique gifts and abilities, and harness them to serve creation through self-expression, we share our love and our truth, whatever that may mean to each of us and whatever that may look like. In so doing, we simultaneously honor both our individuality and the underlying Oneness and Unity that pervades all of creation.

"Cosmogenesis" marks my fourth release as Starseed.

The album traces the story of humanity upon a multidimensional cosmic journey, each composition representing the energy of a particular star or star system and its corresponding archetypal traits. The parameters of the human game experience are such that, in a variety of ways, each individual embodies a certain set of characteristic "colors", "tones", or "flavors" that are reflective of certain places throughout the cosmos. Each individual is unique regarding the makeup of his or her blueprint and the particular themes that he or she will explore and play out in any given incarnation. Upon the course of one's incarnational trajectory, one simultaneously feeds into and draws from these various stellar energies in order to paint the story of one's life, to realize and to actualize one's full potential, and to satisfy the conditions of one's soul purpose. Humanity is reawakening to the fact that, as intergalactic junction hubs, each individual stands at the crux of a multitude of universal energies and acts as a medium by which these energies may coincide, interweave, exchange, and express themselves creatively and symbiotically, thereby facilitating the evolution of consciousness and allowing consciousness to understand itself at a much deeper level.

On a personal note, the collection of compositions that comprise "Cosmogenesis" are an exploration of some of the energies that I sense to be most representative of my unique makeup as an individual. I feel that what came through during the writing and production process for each tune could best be described as my subjective interpretation on a musical level of what the energies of each of these stars and star systems sound like and "mean" to me.

I feel strongly that written in the stars above, in the Earth below, and encoded within us are the keys to understanding who we are, where we came from, and why we are here, and it is my loving intention that "Cosmogenesis" may assist you in one way or another in this process of discovery and rediscovery. May these sound expressions resonate with, uplift, and inspire you in one way or another to connect more completely with yourself and with your truth. "Sansa kroma
Ne na woo aw
Che che kokoma"

Here's an electronic arrangement I did of an old Ghana folk song from West Africa. The lyrics tell the tale of a hawk named Sansa Kroma who when in flight one day happened upon a flock of orphaned hawk chicks. Circling above them for some time, she then snatched them up, took them back to her nest, and raised them as if they were her own.

During a retreat at our property in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, a very special being taught us this song around the fire one night, and when we all sang it together, I felt such a sense of family, of light, and of connection. For me, it was one of the most memorable moments of the whole weekend, and in honor of such a powerfully moving experience, I felt inspired to realize the vision of creating this rendition in turn.

The moral that I take away from the story is that no matter how lost or lonely we may feel in life, we are never alone and we will always be taken care of. When we have the eyes to see, when we have the ears to hear, and when we allow our hearts to guide the way, we will find our tribe. We will realize that family is everywhere we look, that they seek us just as much as we seek them. <3

"Expressence" marks my 8th release as Starseed, and it has been a journey and a half so far to reach this point as an artist and as a being. As is bound to be the case, my art continues to evolve and transform as I do, bearing all the marks of the twists and turns of my infinitely unique path of growth, and reflecting the new perspectives, influences, and insights I assimilate along the way.

I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to share my creations with you all, and while there are many reasons I feel compelled to do so, my primary intentions are to connect with you in ways that words alone fail to do so, and to seek to inspire each of you as you all inspire me.
