I didn't think I liked strawberries much, but then I tried some warabimochi at Nanahira's recommendation and decided they are probably at least A tier when paired with [r]ice cream, whipped cream, etc.

I made a plugin for REAPER that can gradually transform a scale by changing the size of its generator. The size of the perfect 5th starts at 690c and ends at 713c. This is just a silly example but I have big plans for making crazy EDM and chiptune with this technique applied to other microtonal scales.

A Mohajira Thing WIP

Two adaptations of "The Connemara Jig" to porcupine[7]. In one, the melodic structure is preserved, with the chord identities flipped (E minor and D major become E major and D minor). In the second, the chord types are preserved (E minor becomes D minor, E major becomes D major) with the melody shifting up or down to match.

I couldn't help but notice the similarities between these songs - it turns out they already had identical tempo and number of beats. I may attempt a proper remix to get verses to line up with verses, choruses with choruses, etc., but for now, this is pretty hilarious.

Another case where I just smash two songs together. They were already in the same key, so I just sped up Honey I'm Good from 122 to 132 BPM and overlaid the two with some stereo pan. Hecking great

4:7:9:11 chords and their chromatically parallel friends (all of them), and even a few inversions. The tuning is 28-EDO, and the time signature is mostly 15/16.

Tune in porcupine for Keenan P's marimba, though this rendering goes one key lower than is available! I'll have to re-render a step higher at some point.

Some creative application of S&H voltage and randomized slew/non-slew headed in to the quantizer actually makes pretty darn good melodies. There is no melodic phrasing; I'll have to figure that out for next time ^__^

Also, Akemie's Castle is doing all the bass sounds, including the supersaw-esque ones at the end! What to heck!
