Spell is a collaborative debut single by producer Starvon and singer songwriter Raven Brookner. The LA based duo began working together in mid 2016, with Spell being their first release. Brookner, a teacher at the time of its writing, wrote and recorded the song in producer Starvon's studio in Silverlake. A pop song with depth, the haunting melodies and rhythms back soulfully seductive vocals. The lyrics detail a story of love and deception in a forbidden sapphic affair.

With punchy kicks, electronic synths, and unfiltered raw lyrics of truth, her productions give chills while inspiring you to rage out and look into the mirror of your emotions. An emphasis on drums felt in your chest and catchy melodic phrases, Starvon balances electronic and acoustic music elements bending the unfamiliar and familiar into one.
