Prymara is co-founder of most heavy clubs and projects in the rave subculture music scene of China, such as: Aby'ss club (Shanghai), Pillbox club (Beijing), HDR Cult, Hydra and C.U.M. (Common Underground Members). Born and raised in Ukraine he moved a long time ago to the East part of the world to become mastermind behind underground music scene of China and a music player that spread the fast and distorted vibrations around all Chinese underground clubs and Asia and continuously cultivating Ukrainian rave scene inside the local market inviting the most talented artists from the Ukraine, as: Tweeman, Nastya Muravyova, Vani Vachi, Nastia, Re:Drum, same time supporting numerous international artists during their tours at East.


𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: What about your first DJ gig?
𝙋𝙍𝙔𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘼: What was your first DJ gig? Prymara: It was a long way to my first gig. Nobody dragged me into the industry, so its take a time of practicing at open decks around the Shanghai and playing at bars, and for real I am glad that I had this way to build my style and get understanding path of the Dj until the father of underground scene in China Max Shen invite me to play at 44KW club. At that time, it was one of the best underground clubs in China and a player in the world music scene. In short, it was inspiring, hot and ravey as it can be, which gave me a push deep inside to become a part of the underground scene in China and the world.


𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: You've been living in Shanghai for many years now. What's the most incredible thing you love about the city? 
𝙋𝙍𝙔𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘼: Right now it's already 8 years since I've been living in Shanghai. Every city has its pros and cons, because there is no perfect place in this world, but for sure as a western person such a city is shocking with about 25 million people, a combination of old European buildings with glass skyscrapers and Buddhist and Dao temples, food, culture looks like on another planet. For sure this place is unique and I am happy to be part of the energy of Shanghai and put my word to the development of culture in it. 

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Is there a musical instrument you play or want to play? 
𝙋𝙍𝙔𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘼: Like most of bedroom producers, I can and enjoy playing on synths. In my childhood I played on bandura, but in the era of digitalization I think the most creative way of creation and performance of the music is of course using the DAW's. I think it's a significant step for humankind when we start to use electronic devices to complement classic instruments and understand better waves and vibrations of sound. Now we can better understand from the sound of the creation of the universe to the noize of grasshoppers.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Movie night or a long series session? 
𝙋𝙍𝙔𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘼: Hmmm... depends, but as a cinematographic lover I will go with movie night. I think it's more challenging for directors to fully open the storytale and make it eye-catching with a time limit than trying to make it as long as possible for run a lot of episodes or seasons. And you know challenges push us to creativity.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: What is “Hug Life”? 
𝙋𝙍𝙔𝙈𝘼𝙍𝘼: Solving way of any trouble with ancient method that is in our DNA which is action of the contact body to body.

A pleasure to hear this mix by La Serpiente (Marco Segato). We’ve been in touch years back when I was booking the first Zaliva-D European tour.  Marco brought Zaliva-D to the, now permanently closed, Macao in Milano.  His journey in life brought him recently to Amsterdam. 

Marco Segato is a sonic explorer, producer and live performer currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He's the co-founder of Rete Neurale Milano E.S.T. - an event born in the infamous Milanese multi-cultural space Macao - and curator of the mix series Empty Signal Transmission. He has been a Red Bull Music Academy alumnus in 2016 in Montréal (Canada) and graduated in Audio Production at SAE Institute Milan in 2017. During the last years Marco released his music under four different monikers: La Serpiente, MS, Narvalos (with Alessio Costantino) & eoobe (with Elina Tapio). Across these projects his sound maintains a sense of mysticism brewing with eerie tension, influenced and incorporating sounds of broken beats, post-industrial experimentations, and ritualistic elements to conjure psychic immersion. He produces and performs live sets with a combination of analogue and digital hardware, with a sonic outcome that is always saturating the mind with extra-musical ideas.

Amsterdam-based Elina Tapio is a DJ/radio maker/sonic researcher with a touch for dark, cerebral sets infused by industrial atmospheres and psychedelic rhythms. She co- hosts the experimentally oriented shows Scrying the Landscape on Tbilisi’s Mutant Radio and axia maxim on Amsterdam’s Echobox. Together with Marco Segato the two have recently started releasing music under the moniker eoobe.

国内で彼女を知る人々のほとんどは彼女(Elli-Rose)をファッションモデルとして認識している人が未だ多いかもしれない。しかし、ここ数年の献身的な音楽活動によって、今では確実にダンスミュージックシーンでの”DJ"としての確固たる地位を確立し、その存在感と独自の音楽スタイルによってクラブシーンでも目覚ましい活躍をしているアーティストとして注目を浴びている。現在では、クラブイベントからビッグフェスまで年間60本以上のブッキングをこなす中、音楽志向の強いマニアックなイベントからも常にオファーが耐えない。疾走感の中にも、時に女性らしいエモーショナルな一面をも演出し、まさにひとつの起承転結のストーリーを作り上げて見せるスタイルを持ち合わせたDJであり、彼女に信頼を置くアーティストやプロモーターは数知れない。フロアの温度感を感じながら、異色な楽曲もスムーズに繋ぎ合わせるスキルも持ち合わせる彼女の音楽性とその多様性が如何なる現場にも対応出来るDJであることを証明していると言えるであろう。2014年からは、代官山AIRにて自身主催のイベント"DUCE"を始動。Levon Vincent、DJ Shufflemaster 等をゲストに迎え、DJとしてのみならず、自らパーティーをプロデュースする中でより完成度の高い世界観を発信している。ヨーロッパやアジアへの進出も視野に置き、より奥深い音楽的信念を追求したElli Arakaraとしての活動から目が離せない。

-このミックスのコンセプトを教えてください。

不思議空間トリップ。70年代のサイケデリック・クラウトロックバンドのサウンドにミニマル・ウェイブやエレクトロニカなどのトラックで喪失感、かつ疾走感あるスペイシーなミックスに仕上がりました。
場所を選ばず時の流れからロストし、時間を忘れさせてくれるような。そんな起承転結のあるストーリーを作ってみました。


-今後の活動を教えてください。

国内でのクラブイベント、テクノロジー・アート祭典やフェスの他、海外でのギグも予定してます。

Melbourne duo @HTRK (Nigel Yang & Jonnine Standish) have a well-storied history reaching back nearly two decades. From a back-catalogue comprising of significant releases on imprints like @Ghostly International, Mistletone and Boomkat Editions, collaborations with luminaries such as Mika Vainio, Rowland S. Howard & @benfrost, and appearances at numerous key events around the globe (including the legendary @berlinatonal festival, Krakow's @unsound and Vivid at the Sydney Opera House), their impact on a vast array of listeners and scenes is indelible and difficult to overstate.

As a two-piece band, their melancholic, sensual music lies roughly at the intersection of post-punk, no-wave, shoegaze and art-rock, with influences from IDM, industrial, noise, dub-techno, pop and beyond. Indeed, it is this eclectic palette, combined with deep knowledge and curiosity that has recently seen them contribute a captivating ambient score for Jeffrey Peixoto's documentary "Over the Rainbow" and regularly deliver genre-defying mixes on platforms like @secretthirteen and NTS.

A starting theme and departure point for HTRK's Patterns of Perception 74 is the ocean. This intricately assembled collection of music finds a natural ebb and flow amongst rich, organic synths and delicate abstract melodies. Building from a slow and introspective beginning, the duo intuitively and carefully guide the narrative to also incorporate gentle energy and a sense of strangeness. 
Viewed holistically, this mix is invigorating and luxuriously diverse, with a true chameleonic quality that allows the listener to take something different from every listen.

Patterns of Perception 74 - HTRK

What a mess of a year. Each one of us has strolled through loneliness in a strikingly new way, isolated and immobile. The dancefloors haven’t been this cold in decades. They're now the host of nothing but memories: you can still hear the muffled echoes from the frenzy they use to witness. Still, our raving past is not as far as it feels and our celebratory future is not as distant as it may seem. 

We want to put an end to the year with one of those echoes that we were lucky enough to register: a bit more than a year ago Lena Willikens joined us at Ankali and gave color to one of the last nights of December. The electric feeling of those hours is bound to make this cold time a little warmer, a little easier to handle. 

The winter will pass. We will dance again.

Tamburi Neri is a project based on the tales created by the lucid
madness of Andrea Barbieri and the musical composition
of Claudio Brioschi.
They released their music on labels such as 'Mad On The Moon', 'Optimo Music' and 'Les Disques De La Mort' and they just joined the 'Worst Records' catalogue with their debut LP "Ombre" (featuring Hiroko), an organic entity filled with worry, a poetic canvas suspended over the void and balanced by hypnotic rythms on one side and synthetic avant-garde minimalism on the other.
E.S.T. 047 is an intimate musical journey through their personal sound and moods exploration, carrying the listeners to a long vortex of shamanic chants and rhythms, psychedelia, cosmic and hypnotic sounds, slo mo tribalism and enchanting poetry.
