Comprised of raw recordings, spontaneously conducted between 2012 to 2020 in Venice and later in Milan, Machinete are Marco Segato (La Serpiente) and Pietro Giubilato (TLXCO) executing and modulating rough post-industrial beats into pummeling electro structures with a brute sense of nocturnal acid in the air which strives to bring power to its knees.


All revenues from this album will be donated to The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund (https://gascf.org). The fund provides medical assistance to children in critical need and supports the medical sector in Gaza and Lebanon.

The Serbian producer, a key figure in the Balkan scene and founding member of the E75 collective, showcases his signature fusion of raw electro and techno elements in this release, proving why he has remained at the forefront of the genre for over 20 years.

The EP emerges as a sonic manifesto where technical precision meets unrelenting attitude. From the opening bars of Robotech Pt 1, with its menacing basslines and distorted synths, it’s clear this is material crafted for moving crowds in the darkest corners of the underground. Civil Rights heightens the tension with intricate rhythmic patterns and acidic leads, while Moving Back and Forth ventures into more hypnotic territory without sacrificing an ounce of energy. The closing track, Robotech Pt 2, serves as the perfect epilogue, condensing the essence of Alavux’s sound into six minutes of metallic percussion, granulated bass, and the apocalyptic atmosphere that has earned him support from icons like Dave Clarke.

A decade after his breakout Octagon EP on Bass Agenda Recordings, this new release on Urban Kick Recordings reaffirms Alavux as a consistent and visionary force in contemporary electro.
