Wildlife Analysis - Boards Of Canada (8 - Bit Cover)

The first in an eventual series of compilations meant to showcase various "thematic locations" and the music that might go along. The first thematic location is Forest, and includes themes that might be found in forests, jungles, and wooded areas.

The inspiration for this album came from many different places. The first track tries to play with the idea of forest spirits from many of my favorite games and movies, including Legend of Zelda and Princess Mononoke. Some of the later tracks were created while imagining a fight with a giant forest spider, and are thus intended to be more "boss" or "battle" themed.
