Ara-u announces a new electro compilation on his label No Static / Automatic. Titled The Exiled, the album showcases the sound of artists he grew up with in his local scene in Venezuela and also sets out to raise money to support the local community. 

The Exiled brings together a new generation of exiled artists who left the country for economic and political reasons.  The act of working with them on the release also strives to keep them connected and bring a creative sense of joy to their home country. All proceeds from the release will be donated to Santa Cruz De Mara which supports elderly people living in poverty and struggling to survive with accommodation and food.

To celebrate the end of 2021 and Spinning Around's first year in action, Highly Minogue has invited some of this year's guests to contribute to a new independent charity compilation. This compilation features new productions from each artist, and all proceeds go directly to Australian First Nations organisations - including Pay The Rent and the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service - causes Highly feels strongly about after the loss of his best friend back in 2014.

Spinning Around is one of Melbourne community radio's most beloved shows, hosted by DJ and producer Highly Minogue. Airing on online radio platform Area 3000, Highly invites guests every week for an interview and a guest mix; uploading his segment for playback on the station's website, Soundcloud and Spotify. ‘Planned Obsolescence’ was played by many djs that I didn’t think liked my sound at all, so that was a good surprise, while doing this release I thought right away to some remixes, things that I never do for some reason. But this was the right time to take this approach, I chose 3 Artists that I think define this era of techno, Functional Techno to be precise, I respect them a lot, I grow with them, and I spend time with them too, and see them taking over the scene that counts make me happy, I always thought they would go far, and I wasn’t wrong. This isn’t just a “pack of remixes” but something that means a lot to me, growing with the artists is key for me on the label - those names are 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲 + 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 + 𝗢𝗙𝗙 \ 𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗗.I hope you enjoy their work, I think it is stunning how they took all my sounds and made tactical bangers.
