I got instantly inspired by the original when I first heard it so the day it came out I began working on this remix for it. I worked on it every day for 26 days straight and changed and tweaked so much until finally - here it is. Safe to say i'm super happy with how it turned out and excited that I finally get to share some new music, as I'm working on an Album of originals behind the scenes and haven't been releasing due to this. 
The idea behind this one was to keep as much of the epicness of the original track in tact, while adding bass and a melodic touch to it. And you know me, as a self-proclaimed second drop switch-up connoisseur, I had to do it to em in the 2.5 drop ;)  

Since I didn't have stems, you might find there are some weird audio artifacts in some places with the vocal - due to AI vocal separators not being able to separate it properly. Riot music team if you're listening - would love if you could send some stems my way :P

When I heard the original remix by Bryce Miller/Alloy Tracks, which played at the very end of episode 8, I got instantly inspired. So as soon as I finished binging the season I got straight to work and smashed out this remix in my own Synthwave/Melodic Dubstep style. 

There's something about episode 8 tracks that just hits different, because previously I remixed the Season 2 episode 8 track, which is still one of my favourite things I've done.

Hey, thank you so much for listening to my remix of "Tristam - Truth". This track really started it all for me over 8 years ago on a small youtube channel back then called MonstercatMedia. After I heard Truth and Tristam's other music on Monstercat I instantly fell in love. Tristam's super catchy and emotional lead-focused melodies really resonated with me and he quickly became my favourite artist of all time. Back in those days Tristam used to do some music production livestreams and I was curious how he made his music. He was using a program called FL Studio, and its the #1 reason that inspired me to get FL and to make my own music. Back then I'd copy how he did his sidechaining using fruity parametric EQ and rewatch the livestreams to see any tricks to use in my own production. 
So it was really hard to make this remix for me because no matter how I remix it, I felt like I would be doing a huge injustice to the song that got me started into music production. To say this remix is ambitious for me is an understatement. But regardless, this is my spin on it. I hope you like it, I hope you enjoy it. I certainly did while making it.
