State Of Grace is a Groove Metal/Metalcore band forged in Nürnberg.
Starting as a school band in 2010, the remaining founding members are singer Phil Wiedemann, guitarist Chris Kegler and drummer Adrian Klische, who left the band for a few years and then joined later again in 2015. Bassist and back-up singer Jun-Sub Park joined the Band 2014 and completed the line-up at that time.
The influences reach from classic Pantera to modern Machine Head. Various changes within the line-up helped the band forming their own style, which heavily relies on the uniqueness of each member. Characteristics of this band`s sound is the approach of fusing the rawness of classic thrash and death metal with many modern elements like changing time signatures and a very detailed percussive execution.
Releasing two EP`s: Rising like Phoenix in 2012 and Desert in 2016 the band has matured from an ambitious school band to a locally known live-act, that won the "Szene Fürth Contest" in 2014 and was invited to the "NN Rocktour" in 2015.
