Old-school extended remix, none of this new-fangled "make a new track and just use a hi-hat and tambourine sample from the original song" nonsense. It was all fields round here when we were kids. And you could leave the front door unlocked, and still have change for the bus fare home

PSB - Left To My Own Devices (Dim Zach Edit)

One of the most influential late 80s recording for me constructed mainly from samples. Genius work and a lot of effort put in this translated in a Grammy nomination in 1989. 
I always wanted to prolong the main theme and turn down the testosterone on the samples so I can use it today in 2013. I have used a couple of loops from the original and then overdubbed everything else as well as recreating a few sampling parts from scratch.
Enjoy and keep the funk alive.
