The online meetings we have all become accustomed to are often accompanied by the experience
of being distracted and drifting off into daydreams. In this piece, you will take part in a journey into
the mind of a host in an online meeting with multiple participants. You will hear how the ringing of
a phone, a car horn, or a glitch in the online stream trigger an irresistible sonic journey in which all
these events dissolve and abandon their old meaning to form new sound worlds that emerge from
their material.

A Candy-floss islet
At one glance poisonous
Nestle in the curve of the roots
Sylph is hiding sharp tooth

In the narrow cave
Hollow river gobbles the ruins

Air marches in servitude
Blown curves of early clouds
& the sight of the candy-floss
Remains as a white ribbon.

In the time we strive to forget unattainable voice, all splendor and great temptations are almost always the result of being conscious. Even a small shudder will break the sea, while the silenced rapture of aliveness can be construed in a world where the wind can be a guest and the trees are full nests. We stand argus-eyed, close by the horizon behind us, moving forward to the wave that will repeat itself endlessly.

'Ephemerides' reveals the duality of humming drones and natural sounds as mellifluous curl grinds in noise by the hands of Samuele Larese under his moniker - Lessons in Hate - within reposeful atmosphere of the mountains, which remains the basis for the record as it is orchestral-like, carried out by the forest.

in memory of a dear friend who recently left london to explore new horizons.

the source sound for this track is probably the last thing we listened to together as he visited me one last time to say goodbye, some feedback i had recorded on tape a few days earlier and that i played for him in the studio as i thought he would love the sense of space and openness embedded in those sounds. 

in the evening i revisited that tape and used a very small section as a seed for this track. it was performed live and recorded in one take as i was reflecting on my friend recent departure and the great times we'd had together in the past few years, always exploring the edges of sound and discovering new and beautiful spaces in the process.
