Microesfera returns to Static Discos with a new full length, Sunny Day, a bright collection of electronic songs that furthers into pop territory. After his previous two EPs on Static Discos, Feel and Real, Microesfera has been able to perfectly mix the edgy post-house music the Buenos Aires project started with more than a decade ago with electronic pop music reminiscent of the Kompakt Pop era of Cologne.

Macario‘s full on debut for Static Discos follows his previous My Own EP. On Topure Mauricio Urbina, the man behind Macario, fulfills expectations with a collection of electronic pop songs interspersed with instrumental tracks. On the three years between his debut EP and Topure, Macario has grown up and created an intimate setting full of intricate beats, lush atmospheres, dreamy melodics and sincere song crafting. Tracks like “Low Expectations” and “Dusted” reveal a melancholic template that matches the honest tribulations in the lyrics themselves, while “Crank” and “Post Feelings” elevate the mood with progressive electronic psychedelia.

When The Night Comes is a track from Microhm's forthcoming EP on Static Discos, Eternal Night, to be released in late 2018. 

Microhm is one of the sonorous pseudonyms under which works the Mexican artist Leslie García, who is known for her work within the media arts as part of the collectives http://interspecifics.cc and http://astrovandalistas.cc. In the world of experimental electronics she has published her work as LogarDecay on labels such as Umor Rex (Mexico) and HayleTapes (France). With Microhm Leslie develops electronic music derived from influences such as new wave, noise and techno from a perspective of abstraction that complements improvisational sessions to create a changing and dislocated live act.

FAX latest release is a brooding sweep of changing sound landscapes, shifting from subtle post-rock surfaces to deep listening ambiance.  Musician Yamil Rezc (Transgresorcorruptor, Yo Camaleón) guests on drums throughout the album, adding depth and soft dynamic flourishes to FAX's soundscapes.
